Change can be a welcome event in our lives. Yet even the best changes come with some uncertainty. So we rely on the support that comes from unexpected places, from friends, from people working in the field of housing for adults with IDD, and from innovators who guide us along the way. Then we can lean in to our courage and look forward to what's next without fear.

It’s finally happening, You’re ready to move into your own home after months or maybe even years of planning. Having worked with many autistic young adults and their families over the years, I’m happy to share my ideas for making this important transition a smooth one.

Leaning against a wall are a wide variety of instruments, some of which are a small bongo, maracas, a banjo, a saxophone, a bright orange electric guitar, an accordion, a viola, and others.

2023 is off to a vibrant start here at Partners4Housing, with free Benefits and Housing Reviews available to thousands of WA families thanks to a generous grant from the Dan Thompson Memorial Fund.
